Things I will not do.
One thing I seem to notice in the modern day is that "EVERYTHING" is debate. It seems despite having more information people have become less sure than ever. Decisions have become harder to make. The things that we once knew were bad for us have been called back into question. In fact I would argue that the term "Bad" itself has lost all meaning to the modern man. A great problem arises here as when you can no longer set boundaries you become willfully compliant to all action. Instead of a hill you subject yourself to die amongst the weeds in the valley.
This concept is known as Epistemic Learned Helplessness where when a true argument and wrong argument are just as convincing the nature of its convincingness should not aid in your decision to believe it. Therefore as far as morals go you should stick with your prior. I would choose the most time tested belief resulting in good humans defined by intuition. Provided the bible outlawed sleeping with one's sibling there is no argument regardless of its convincingness that could lead to me accepting its premise.
It has also much aided me to extrapolate principles of the suckless philosophy to more areas of my life like this one. Leading to practice of subtraction rather than addition.
It is in that spirit I provide you with my list of "Things I will not do" cited with my time tested belief.
