Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have placed ourselves above others and failed to acknowledge our own shortcomings.

Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have sought glory and recognition for our own achievements and not given credit to you.

Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have judged others harshly and failed to show compassion and mercy.

Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have used our faith as a weapon to condemn others rather than a source of love and reconciliation.

Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have failed to listen to the voices of the oppressed and marginalized, and instead prioritized our own comfort and privilege.

Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have acted out of fear and insecurity, rather than trusting in your goodness and grace.

Lord, have mercy on us for the times we have forgotten that all good things come from you, and have taken credit for your blessings in our lives.

May we seek to imitate the humility of Christ, who did not consider equality with God something to be grasped but made himself nothing, taking on the nature of a servant, and being obedient to the will of GOD
